For episode seven of „Handball in Numbers – The Handballytics Podcast“ Mark was not available, so Julian invited two guests to talk about player rating metrics such as the PlayerScore, HPI or the Grades by HBStatz. The guests are former Olympian and Icelandic international player Einar Örn Jónsson, who joins live from Tokyo where he works as commentator for Icelandic television, and statistician Oliver Brosig who co-developed the PlayerScore and was a part of the task force by the German Bundesliga for the HPI. They focus a bit on Denmark vs. Sweden in the beginning but then take a look at the whole preliminary round for the men’s tournament.
